PROJECT
SPEIS is a news and current affairs application for the Barcelona Fire Department, created by Auntament de Barcelona through Bcn Apps.
For this project, we created an application that connects to a Wordpress CMS, allowing all news management to be carried out internally from the Wordpress platform. To achieve this, we developed a custom module to install in Wordpress, which acted as a bridge between the CMS and the application, allowing us to communicate through the API service and thus manage all requests made from the application to the Wordpress Backoffice, such as authentication, obtaining multimedia content and sending push notifications.
This application was distributed internally privately.
